PDA NEWSLETTER

Dear Friends,

Progressive Democrats of America brings you our latest newsletter with a sense of great pride in shared accomplishments. At a time when the news generated by the reactionary Bush administration reaches new lows on a daily basis, there is hope to be found in PDA state chapter and caucus reports from across the country. PDA is here. We are growing. The Progressive voice is gaining strength with each of the hundreds of individual and collective acts that you do to bring us closer to a kinder, better day. This issue of the PDA Online Newsletter focuses on Voting Rights, ending the occupation of Iraq and Afghanistan, the Federal budget, the preservation of Social Security, and growing the progressive movement. We especially call your attention to a draft of an end-the-war resolution adopted by approximately 50 Vermont cities and towns, as well as to a report on a pilot project to train young people in how to become conscientious objectors. The PDA Online Newsletter is one of the ways PDA shares what we are learning with our base. This is your Newsletter. We welcome your feedback, ideas, accomplishments, and questions. We welcome your support to continue this work.
